So many sounds…so many noises. Where is the silence? How can I get to it?

Is there ever really a place or time by which silence truly exists? There’s sounds in and around everything. So how can sound really cease?

Consider if sound was to cease, the silence could develop. But is there ever really any silence?

Observe that when you become silent, even silence makes a sound. Or is the silence silent nevertheless we just continue to hear? Even in continuing to hear lies the proof that silence is missing.

I try to quiet my mind and I try to stop listening; however, nothing turns off sound so I just continue hearing. Where is the silence? What does it sound like?

Silence equates to quietness and can lead to peace. But silence is missing so what about some peace and quiet? How can I get those? Can I ever really hear the sound of either?

Is it possible to hear nothing, observe no sound, and experience silence? Consider – Even silence makes a sound.

Note: This is just a random poetry piece of mine... just some of my unique thoughts. I hope you enjoyed reading.

Wishing you lots of love,
